Systems Support Analyst, Business Operations
Job Description
The Amplify Business Operations team is looking for an experienced System Support Analyst, Business Operations. This role is responsible for driving improvements in the processes and existing technologies that support the Business Operations team. This role works closely with IT and Business Operations to research and troubleshoot system issues, collect requirements, document user stories, prioritize and handle the backlog, document test scripts, implement user acceptance testing and communicate system updates to the team.
This person will collaborate with high stakes contributors and subject matter authorities, uniting with technical resources to define project scope and produce project artifacts. This role works closely and associating with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality project outcomes that are delivered on time and on budget to support strategic business goals.
Responsibilities of the Systems Support Analyst, Business Operations:
- Provide product support, track escalations, perform root cause analysis, and work with technical resources and business users to resolve issues
- Identify effective business solutions for NetSuite ERP, Salesforce and other business software systems
- Act as a solution consultant that deeply understands current state business processes, challenges, and their supporting technology stack
- Document business process and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and other project artifacts; partner with system administrators to design thoughtful solutions
- Partner with business customers and IT administrators to prioritize and manage the backlog
- Document detailed test scripts, manage and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Communicate status updates to business leadership and partners
- Facilitate implementation of new functionality through communications, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation
Basic Requirements of the Systems Support Analyst, Business Operations :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5+ years Business Analyst and/or System Support experience
- Prior experience with ERP systems or Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications of the ERP Business Analyst, Business Operations:
- Experience working in the education technology field
- Experience leading software development or process improvement projects for internal and external clients
- Certification in a related process (PMP, Lean Sigma Six, Agile Scrum-master)
- Experience with Netsuite preferred
- Expertise with technologies and tools such as MS Project, Google apps, Trello, etc. required to effectively lead projects and provide clear and concise communications to teams and key partners
What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
