The Systems Support Technologist will join our Systems Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN supporting the F-16 Platform Systems Integration (PSI) program. The PSI Business Area supports our customer's needs for rapid capability integration with systems that provide superior combat relevance and readiness across the airborne fleet via avionics upgrades and technology insertions.

Our Indianapolis facility also supports a variety of other product lines serving multiple DoD customers providing the opportunity to work on a diverse set of programs and roles supporting the continued advancement of your career.

Typical Duties:

The Systems Support Technologist provides technical support to the F-16 program throughout the development life cycle, from concept development, requirements definition, functional analysis, design review support, system implementation, integration, verification, and validation. The selected candidate will work with an integrated team where strong communication and team building skills are critical to success. Individuals who love to learn and seek new challenges are highly valued.

The Systems Support Technologist will support Systems Engineers in the development of documentation, test procedures and test tools and other tasks. It is expected that the selected candidate demonstrates strong accountability with the ability to work autonomously to deliver high quality work products on-schedule. The candidate must rely on moderate experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.

Required Skills:
  • Experience working as a technician on complex military systems.
  • Experience working with multi-discipline teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Current Active DoD Secret or higher Clearance.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with debugging software code.
  • Experience working with government customers including the US Army, US Navy, USMC and/or USAF.

Educational Requirement:

AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is preferred, relevant military experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
