Systems Test Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Lead the systems testing of prototype eVTOL aircraft through integration and ground test
• Collaborate with teams across the company to develop test plans, and execute on those plans for flight critical hardware
• Develop test plans incorporating requirements from all key stakeholders– Avionics, Propulsion, Battery, Harness, GNC, Aero, and Structures
• Perform all testing and calibration of aircraft control surfaces, sensors, actuators, and everything else required to make the aircraft ready to fly
• Analyze test data and share with engineering teams
• Coordinate the companywide systems testing program by creating schedules, highlighting risks, etc.

What You Need

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with high voltage systems: cars, aircraft, etc. and more specifically electric motors
• Experience with MATLAB and Python
• Experience with PLM systems
• Experience with Linux
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
• Hands-on experience in multiple technical fields and comfortable probing and debugging LV and HV electrical systems
• Excellence in technical writing
• Positive can-do attitude

• Pilot and/or Aircraft experience
• Experience with Grafana
• Experience developing products from prototype to mass production
