The Rapid Deployment Recruiter is responsible for all recruiting aspects of hourly roles for startup locations or surge recruiting needs across the state of Minnesota. This includes creating the sourcing and marketing strategy and coordination of all recruiting tasks to meet the startup or surge’s in hiring. This role is expected to participate in hiring events.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Partner with operations and HR site contacts to determine hiring needs 
    • This includes creating the sourcing, and coordination of all recruiting tasks to meet the startup or surge hiring needs.
    • You will determine marketing and sourcing strategies to meet the hiring demand.
    • Manage postings for designated locations, and monitor posting throughout the hiring process; in conjunction with the vacancy report.
    • Review submitted applications and/or resumes for applicant job fit.
    • Interview (phone screen or in-person) and select qualified applicants.
    • Conduct references, prepare offer letters, and coordinate onboarding with employment specialists.
    • Participate in job fairs and networking opportunities within the community where hiring needs apply.
    • You should be able to generate a high-volume pipeline of candidates ready to hire for specific deadlines.
    • You will lead coordination and facilitation efforts for recruitment needs while partnering with operations and HR.
    • Provide weekly recruiting reports, data, and analytics to operations teams for status updates linked to the hiring initiative.

    Qualifications

    • Experience seasonal recruiting experience focused on hourly employees in a high-volume setting
    • 1-3 years of Recruiting, preferably in the hospitality, retail, staffing or logistics industry
    • Project management or Project coordination experience
    • Experience running successful bulk hiring events
    • ATS experience is required.
    • Experience working with job boards/resume databases such as: Indeed, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, Linkedin, Etc.

      • Partner with operations and HR to anticipate and pipeline candidates for scheduled openings or sudden emergency placements.
      • They will build talent pipelines by utilizing a diverse sourcing strategy in preparation for the selected hiring date
      • Strong project coordination skills, being able to translate deadlines into action-based goals
      • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
      • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability; thrives in a changing and/or fast-paced environment
      • Ability to think critically – recognizes connections, uses strong judgment to make choices in alignment with strategy and company culture/values
      • Self-motivated and driven – strives to deliver great results and drive continuous improvement, gets things done.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to deliver a compelling story to prospective candidates
      • Leads coordination and facilitation efforts for internal recruitment-related presentations.
