Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Application Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tableau installation, configuration, and system maintenance, as well as user management, security, and troubleshooting. You will be supporting a key Life Sciences customer, ensuring the smooth operation of their Tableau environment. This is a vital role that involves managing and maintaining Tableau infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Tableau Server installation and desktop setup, ensuring seamless integration within the client's environment.
• Manage updates and upgrades to the Tableau system, while monitoring and optimizing performance for reliability and efficiency.
• Administer user accounts, manage licenses, and ensure proper access controls are in place for all users.
• Implement and manage access control policies, ensuring data security and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support and manage data connections, data extracts, and the overall integration of data sources within the Tableau environment.
• Develop and maintain backup procedures, and establish disaster recovery protocols to protect critical data and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support and issue resolution, including tracking and solving problems related to the Tableau platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Tableau Installation, Configuration, and System Maintenance.
• Strong background in Tableau Security, Access Control, and User Management.
• Proficiency in Data Integration and Management within Tableau environments.
• Expertise in Backup and Recovery processes specific to Tableau.
• Proven experience in Tableau Troubleshooting and providing technical support.

Additional Information

• Remote (only Portugal-based candidates) 
• Project-based and B2B collaboration.
• Daily rates: 200-270 euros gross/day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday - 14:00 - 22:00 Portugal Time
