Tableau Data Analyst
Job Description
The client is a luxury online furniture retailer based in New York. The company offers a curated collection of home interior pieces and provides first-class interior design services. Their mission is to make the process of buying exquisite designs enjoyable, seamless, and inspiring, using a vertically integrated platform to deliver everything from inspiration to flawless execution. The platform is already in production and focuses on enhancing its features, migrating to newer technologies, and integrating third-party solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to provide actionable insights
- Connect and prepare data using Tableau Prep Builder for effective visualization
- Optimize and design advanced SQL queries, ensuring performance efficiency
- Support data modeling activities to align with business requirements
- Administer Tableau Server, managing user permissions, data sources, and overall performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into strategic decisions
- Engage in ETL processes using Python or R to streamline data pipelines
Requirements:
- Experience in Data Analysis for at least 4 years
- Proficiency in SQL, including DDL, DML, advanced queries, and query optimizations.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL databases
- Expertise in Tableau tools, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Public
- Strong experience in data preparation and visualization, with a track record of creating impactful dashboards
- Familiarity with Tableau administration and performance tuning
- Background in data modeling to support reporting and analytics needs
- Experience with ETL processes using Python or R is highly desirable
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in computer science (or similar technical field)
- Level of English: Intermediate strong (at least)
