Tableau Developer I (Remote)

A Tableau Developer II provides solutions for internal and external customers with timely and accurate information extracted from our business processes. Developers are tasked with designing and implementing data analysis, Tableau dashboard, and SSRS reports. Developers are expected to have reporting experience using SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, or similar tools. Developers should have strong SQL skills and be comfortable utilizing both relational and dimensional physical models.

Developers will be the primary interface to our customers and as such, should have good interpersonal communication skills in order to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage on-premise and cloud databases to pull data needed for reports.
• Use Tableau or SSRS to design dashboards or reports that meet customer requirements.
• Preform data validation to ensure report accuracy.
• Provide documentation for report or analysis requirements.
• Provide maintenance and support for existing Tableau dashboards.
• Provide general process support.
• Attend meetings with customers to determine specific project needs and provide updates.
• Provide training to Business Intelligence Developer I positions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
• At least three years of Business Intelligence industry related experience.
• Understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Strong SQL coding skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to validate their own work, not just develop processes for others to validate.
