Job Description
Experience Required• 5-7 years of experience as a:• Tableau developer/Tableau Admin with high level of expertise in data visualization and automation• Advanced SQL and Excel (or similar language for querying relational databases)• Basic understanding of SAS, R, Python and other similar scripting languages• Deep understanding of Tableau server• Tableau certification is a plus• Experience managing and working with large databases, data management, including understanding of various data structures and common methods in data transformation, data validation and audit• Experience independently initiating and driving visualization/dashboard projects to completion• Demonstrated strong collaboration skillsAnalytics & Insights is a team sport• Ability to multitask and manage multiple research/analytics projects at the same time• Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking
Roles & Responsibilities• Write Develop data assets (dashboards, foundational datasets, data pipelines) as part of technical delivery team• Provide operational support on existing data assets including managing ETL, triaging failures, resolving bugs, and addressing queries from end users• Identify, diagnose and resolve data issues; perform data validation and update data mappings to summarize issues to the cross-functional partners and the leadership team to ensure data accuracy• Implement data quality controls on all existing data assets including automated monitoring and outlier detection on critical data elements• Ensure documentation (e.g., data dictionary) is well-maintained for all published data assets• Support strategic initiatives including re-architecture of foundational datasets, data validation for new data assets, data migration across platforms / systems, etc.
