SCOPE:

.The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for the management and administration of recruitment and selection at Gulfstream Goodwill Industries. This position is responsible for the full recruitment cycle, which includes developing job profiles, implementing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates through digital platforms, and coordinating the interview process. The Talent Acquisition Business Partner will partner with the operational leaders to ensure adequate staffing of qualified employees. This role is responsible for developing, implementing and managing effective, efficient, and consistent recruiting and hiring procedures and practices that will result in attracting and retaining the highest qualified candidates. The Talent Acquisition Business Partner must possess the ability to tell our story, culture and values in a way that speaks to a candidate’s interests and career goals.


The Talent Acquisition Business Partner will work with Marketing to build GGI’s talent branding across a variety of channels, including social media, professional journals and organizations, diversity recruiting channels and conferences and career fairs. This individual will be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders, vendors, community organizations, college and university professionals and other team members to create partnerships that yield short-term and long-term success, predictable results and credibility. He/she will participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies in difficult markets.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manage a full life cycle recruiting process to ensure a rigorous selection process. This includes sourcing, prequalifying candidates, account management and partnership with other functional area partners and business lines, and facilitation of interview process to place qualified and motivated candidates.

2. Develop, implement, and execute proactive sourcing strategies by understanding and identifying the trends and gaps in crucial talent pools. Leverage market intelligence to target passive/active candidates through internet sourcing, resume mining, targeting special interest groups, competitive intelligence, key industries, and companies. Leverage professional network to gain industry information on current talent landscape.

3. Guide internal & external candidates throughout the selection process through timely and effective communication, ATS disposition, and feedback.

4. Participate in various job and career fairs, virtual hiring events, and company sponsored recruitment efforts.

5. Foster a positive candidate and hiring manager experience through clear & timely communication of process expectations & timing, company culture, and our employee value proposition.

6. Utilize technology to enhance processes to deliver metrics and results via reports to measure successes.

7. Develop position profiling, attraction and marketing plans, sourcing and networking strategies, to include social media to identify top talent and engage/onboard candidates.

8. Adheres to recruitment ATS polices and processes by utilizing system for sourcing and tracking of candidates and activity.

9. Maintain flow of communication between interviewing candidates, and hiring managers

10. Responsible for posting jobs in our ATS system, update/edit current job postings, create candidate profiles, job templates, etc.

11. Ensure all jobs are posted to federal, state, and diversity job boards.

12. Run audits to ensure all information wraps correctly to external websites.


OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Demonstrate by words and actions a commitment to the Goodwill mission by advocating for and assisting persons experiencing homelessness to become more independent.

2. Perform or assist with any duties or operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.

3. Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.

4. Participate in any variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

2. Two to three years of experience in a talent acquisition role

3. Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.

4. Proven skills in client relationship building, proven influencing skills, critical thinking, and verbal/written communications required.

5. Ability to analyze and plan for long-term talent implications within the market/industry.

6. Experience working with Sr. Business Leaders

7. Expertise in advanced networking, candidate generation, and Internet sourcing methodologies required.

8. Strategic thinking and innovative sourcing channel experience.

9. Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions on a regional, multi-location level.

10. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

11. Must have experience working with an Applicant Tracking System

12. Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

13. Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.

14. Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations.

15. Ability to work independently, strong effective team player; commitment to results; outstanding service orientation, solutions oriented; superior organizational skills, ability to multi-task, sense of urgency; high-level of personal integrity.

16. Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for insurability under the company insurance and the ability to travel to various site, job fairs, hiring events etc.
