About the role

Essence is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our expanding team! Based in New York City and working directly with our NA Talent Acquisition department and as part of a wider Talent team, you will assist with helping us attract and recruit top talent.

You'll be entrusted with a fine degree of responsibility in helping to refine the Talent Acquisition practice, promoting best practice, candidate assessment, sourcing and more. You will also work closely with our Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams in EMEA and APAC.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Talent Acquisition and the digital media landscape.   

Some of the things we’d like you to do:

• Act as an ambassador for the Talent Acquisition team both internally and externally
• Maintain job postings and our Career Site
• Assist our Recruiters with directly sourcing and shortlisting suitable candidates
• Facilitate and coordinate candidate testing and interviews
• Help capture interview feedback from interviewers
• Administration related to Contractor, Freelancer & Temp hiring
• Assist Recruiters with coordination of annual graduate program
• Liaise with all external staffing agencies and maintain terms of business / service agreements
• Update the weekly Talent Acquisition master list with status of live roles
• Monitor and respond to speculative applications received by the Talent Acquisition team as well as referrals
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of management information and reports  
• Maintain Greenhouse (our ATS system) and pull reports weekly
• Assist with special projects

• Proficiency in database management and MS applications to include Word and Excel; Google Suite experience a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of the digital landscape
