Position Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Reports To: Talent Acquisition Supervisor

Department: Human Resources

FLSA Status: Exempt

Purpose:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an integral partner on the Talent Acquisition team coordinating key processes through the recruitment lifecycle ensuring that all activities related to the recruitment function are progressing effectively and efficiently and updating key stakeholders as appropriate. This individual will contribute to the overall success of the team by providing a high level of candidate and customer experience, administrative support, and delivering operational excellence to the organization.

Essential Functions:

  1. Organize and perform accurate and timely processing of interview scheduling activities for candidates, including travel arrangements.
  2. Conduct phone screens as assigned by the talent acquisition team.
  3. Source and engage passive candidates through job boards and social media.
  4. Ensure all pre-employment requirements are met by candidates and hiring managers; including initiation and monitoring of pre-employment background and credit checks; proactively identify potential issues that may delay start date within the onboarding process.
  5. Proactively reach out to new hires to assist them throughout the hiring process.
  6. Manage requisitions via Applicant Tracking System (ADP) and external resources, such as job boards & social networking sites.
  7. Partner with Marketing to update Featured Opportunities on Careers page, and Social Media platforms on a weekly basis if applicable.
  8. Maintain documentation regarding NMLS Administration for required positions .
  9. Participate in external events such as university careers fairs, major industry conferences, and diversity events.
  10. Supporting logistics of all campus events, including booking activities, logistics arrangements, collateral supply and coordination of attendees.
  11. Maintain TA updates for new hire orientation spreadsheet in collaboration with the Training team.
  12. Gather and analyze TA metrics and reporting.
  13. Ability to assess current administrative processes and recommend changes to improve efficiency
  14. Assist Talent Acquisition team with adhoc projects and initiatives.
  15. Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.

Job Related Qualifications - Education and Prior Experience:

Required:

  • Education: Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or related filed
  • Prior Experience: 3 years of experience in human resources, client services, sales, marketing, or communications in a corporate environment
  • Licenses or Accreditation: N/A

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Prior Experience: 3+ years of experience in human resources, client services, sales, marketing, or communications in a corporate environment

Competencies:

  • Understanding of recruitment best practice tools and methodologies
  • Must have strong communication skills both verbal (i.e. telephone, virtual meetings, etc.) and written (i.e. email, presentations, etc.), including the ability to explain results at a level that resonates across many different audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships characterized by company core values
  • Proven experience in researching, documenting, and escalating issues as required with an emphasis on migrating risk
  • Proven experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously, strong prioritization and time management skills, self-directed, results-oriented
  • Experience working in multiple information systems simultaneously and solid general database knowledge
  • Demonstrates flexibility and thrives in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment, with ability to juggle long-term goals and short-term deliverables
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and apply good judgment (e.g., knowing when to escalate issues, etc.)
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • Demonstrate strong sense of confidentiality and able to maintain confidentiality always

Physical Requirements:
