JOB SUMMARY

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Responsible for assisting recruiters, both internal and external, in the support of the company's hiring needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares interview and new hire packets and ensures 100% compliance at all times.
  • Prepares new hire orientation packets and coordinates the completion and return of applicable HR and benefit documents
  • Completes e-Verify and manages the filing of I-9 forms for active and terminated employees
  • Completes background process for all applicants being considered for a position, including but not limited to, references, criminal background check, educational check and employment verification.
  • Initiates onboarding process for New Hires in RedCarpet and ensuring that all forms are complete prior to first day of employment.
  • Prepares transfer/promotion letters; prepares HR Action Forms for payroll; updates transfer/promotion spreadsheet in "V "Drive; generates transfer/promotion alerts
  • Use social media and recruiting databases/job boards to source qualified candidates
  • Schedule and conduct interviews via phone calls, video calls, or person-to-person interview
  • Prepares HR Action Forms for other various employee activity (e.g. shift changes, review manager/reporting manager/roll call manager and mentor)
  • Participates in Human Resources Audits, as part of the process to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in managing 90 day introductory reviews and 90 day transfer/promotion reviews and ensures compliance with policy
  • Assists with training initiatives; arranges and coordinates training, employee meetings, company manager meetings and new hire/mentor orientation and job fairs
  • Scans terminated personnel files at end of year and manages file retention for storage in warehouse
  • Assist with HRIS database (ADP) and compile reports as required, including but not necessarily limited to New Hires, Promotions/Transfers, Terminations, Anniversary Milestones, updated emergency contacts/addresses/phone numbers
  • Back up HR Assistant when he/she is out of office
  • Conducts 60 day follow up reviews for new hires and transfers
  • Performs other HR-related duties and special projects as required
  • Oversee employee service anniversary program
  • Responsible for all Radwear related tasks
  • Create and distribute emergency exit reports on weekly basis
  • Serves as Backup to reception when needed: Answering phones, assisting customers, managing company switchboard, responding to reception email

May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned

METRICS

Project and demand oriented as defined by the objectives set forth in the monthly reviews and measured based on meeting objectives, completion on time, accuracy and neatness of work, etc.

Specific Metrics Include:

  1. Must have interview packets and new hire packets assembled at all times
  2. Must issue Transfer/Promotion alerts and submit HR Action forms, offer letters and job description for all transferred/promoted employees and or employment status change (PT to FT, FT to PT) to the HR Director by Noon on the Wednesday previous to the effective date (typically the following Monday); must update the Transfer/Promotion & employment status change spreadsheet in the V Drive by the Friday of each week
  3. Must submit HR Action forms for shift changes and rate promotions (same job), etc. to HR Director by Noon on Wednesday previous to the effective date (typically the following Monday). Must obtain signature of both manager and employee on the HR Action Form
  4. Must meet deadlines for assigned tasks and projects, as indicated in the monthly review goals.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Not applicable. This position has no direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must understand the recruiting/staffing/retention/termination cycle; ability to understand the Radwell International recruiting/staffing/retention/termination cycle

• Strong computer skills; ability to learn and understand Radwell electronic applicant database systems

• Ability to learn and understand Radwell HRIS database system to perform job tasks in an automated environment

• Ability to organize and prioritize work; good time management skills and ability to multi-task

• Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

• Strong data integrity skills.

• Strong problem resolution and analysis skills.

• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Clear written and verbal communications.

• Organize and write procedures in a logical/methodical manner.

• Good time management skills; be able to multi-task

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Bachelor's degree, in a Human Resources related field with 2-4 years experience preferably in Human Resources or equivalent years of experience in an HR generalist role preferred.

• HRIS database maintenance, reporting, and familiarity with FMLA, EEO, OSHA and related state and federal regulations a plus.
