Job Description

The Plexus Groupe is looking for a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our growing Human Resources team to support our internal and external recruitment initiatives. This role will be based out of our Deer Park, IL headquarters. A self-starter, proactive thinker, planner, and doer who consistently promotes and sources for Plexus opportunities would be the ideal candidate.

SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator will be a primary contact for the Plexus recruitment process and helping to drive our internal and external recruitment initiatives. This role will coordinate the overall recruitment and interview process, while partnering with internal hiring managers to identify candidates. The TA Coordinator will work closely with all associates part of the HR team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Network and source for candidates, meeting the requirements of available opportunities
  • Build pipelines of candidates to meet proactive hiring
  • Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates
  • Present candidates to leaders and hiring managers
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to review and assess staffing needs
  • Draft, reviews and ensure maintenance of job descriptions and job listings on recruitment platforms
  • Coordinate and guides the recruitment and interview process for candidates
  • Communicate with candidates and internal associates regarding the status of the process
  • Ensure accurate tracking of candidates and recruitment activities
  • Collaborate with HR team members to guide candidates and new hires through the onboarding process
  • Recruit in person and virtually with college campuses and through career fair events
  • Serve as a primary contact for external recruitment events and expands relationships with external recruitment partners, while promoting the Plexus brand
  • Participate in and promote the Plexus Internship Program
  • Collaborate with Marketing regarding Plexus branded items for recruitment purposes

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Excellent organizational skills required
  • Minimum of 3 years talent acquisition experience with exposure to the insurance industry preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team environment, as well as independently
  • Ability to communicate well both written and verbally with associates at all levels
  • Promote a positive environment and culture
  • Familiarity with JazzHR, Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiting functions preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to perform primarily sedentary work, frequently using a computer (visual acuity, fine motor skills) and telephone (talking/hearing)
  • Read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of travel

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position. The associate must work 40.0 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility in hours.
