Summary

The Talent Coordinator is an exciting new role born out of our focus on the future of talent. As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team, you'll focus on the execution of our emerging talent processes for roles across the enterprise. i.e. University Relations, Veteran, Military, Return-to-Work programs. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented and strategic with knowledge of recruiting or career services.

This position will support our Talent Acquisition team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and cultivate strong partnerships with our internal teams, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of advertising templates for internet, print and other advertising avenues as needed for all location to ensure standard employment branding.
  • Complete data collection and tracking required for proper reporting of the interview process as required.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures for interviewing candidates and update appropriate documents accordingly.
  • Provide the highest quality candidate experience through every stage of the recruitment process.
  • Assist in the planning and logistics of career fair seasons, internship, and fellowship programming.
  • Actively participates in team task forces and projects, offering support in project coordination as necessary.
  • Assumes full responsibility of the creation, approval, and management of job requisitions.
  • Handles the posting, updating, and auditing of job posting across various job boards and recruiting channels.
  • Conduct a high volume of phone screens.
  • As needed, travel to various campus events and manage logistics.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration, or related roles preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic state and federal employment laws, interviewing skills and HRIS systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and customer focused demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to supporting the recruitment team in various tasks.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and resilient with high personal initiative.
  • Experience with Canva is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% during peak seasons.
