Job Description Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator working for Taylor Morrison, you will perform candidate sourcing and administrative tasks in support of the organization's recruiting function.

We trust that as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator you will: (responsibilities)

  • Work with Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Manager to develop requisition details (job description, ideal candidate profiles, and post both internal and external job postings)
  • Source candidates by utilizing social media and other Internet tools, employee referrals, cold calling, advertising, job fairs, and networking.
  • Utilize LinkedIn, Indeed, Career Builder, Monster, etc. efficiently to build candidate pipelines
  • Pre-screen candidates and filter qualified candidates to Talent Acquisition Partners
  • Create candidate pools in our ATS System, as needed
  • Schedule interviews for candidates selected by the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner or Hiring Manager
  • Provide Hiring Manager with updates and summaries of recruiting progress and activity
  • Request background investigations on applicants.
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Assist in preparing new hire paperwork including federal forms, employment agreements and offer letters
  • Represent the company at career fairs, company open houses, and community networking events, as needed
  • Assist in internship program by participating in college career fairs, collaborating with relevant colleges and following up with students to keep track of status
  • Schedule new hire orientation with People Services department
  • Manage surveys

About you:

  • 1+ year experience in a Recruiting, HR, Administrative or heavily Customer Service based role
  • A strong passion for Home Building and solid industry knowledge to understand relevant skills, companies
  • Excellent research/sourcing skills and the ability to focus on quality, not just quantity
  • Must be detail oriented and have a sense of urgency while working in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Previous experience in Recruiting/Staffing with a Home Builder preferred
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Experience in using the Internet and other candidate sourcing tools for recruiting
  • Experience using social media and other online methods to develop talent pipeline

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

*Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.

Compensation

FLSA Status: Non - Exempt

Hourly Range: $22.00-$26.00
