Talent Acquisition Dir - Exp Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Director is responsible for leading and directing a dynamic team of high performing experienced hire talent acquisition professionals within the Audit & Tax line of business. This individual will serve as an advisor to the Audit and Tax Leadership Team. The Experienced Hire TA Director will be responsible for developing innovative, forward-thinking strategies that will enable the Audit and Tax leaders to meet business objectives and deliver an enhanced talent experience to the firm's professionals.
Leadership:
- Leads enterprise-wide Audit and Tax experienced talent acquisition team to deliver outstanding client service, excellent candidate care and deliver hiring results in a timely manner. Functions as a career advisor/coach and/or leader and holds team accountable for delivering strong results through communicating performance expectations & providing feedback on performance, recognition, coaching, employee counseling reports and/or discipline including termination, creating career growth opportunities and employee development plans.
- Ensure TA Manager is holding team accountable for documenting and maintaining systems in accordance with established processes and standards. Provides effective leadership on planning appropriate staffing levels; interviewing, selecting, onboarding, and training.
- Build and sustain a caring, collaborative and results-oriented culture within the TA Team.
Strategic Business Partner:
- Develops innovative and forward-thinking recruiting strategies and go-to-market plans to attract quality, diverse talent to meet the talent needs of the business.
- Builds strong, collaborative relationships with business leaders, talent team leaders and other enterprise stakeholders.
- Partner with TA Managers in keeping leaders aware of industry trends and talent related topics including recruiting performance, diversity recruiting efforts.
- Drive technology enhancements and innovation, while maximizing output of existing technology platforms.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, required
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years recruiting experience, preferably in professional services (e.g., finance, legal, accounting, consulting, technology)
- Minimum of 3 years leading and mentoring recruitment team
SKILLS
- Demonstrated experience with planning & prioritization, risk identification & management and time & productivity management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
- Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Agility and adaptability
- Ability to work effectively and influence across a highly matrixed, multi-location organization required
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests from different sources is required
- Required to have very strong organizational and time management skills
