Job Description
The Hearst Magazines Summer Internship Program is a paid, full time 11-week program for undergraduate rising juniors, seniors, and graduate students. From June 5 - August 18, 2023, our interns will gain an immersive, hands-on experience with one of the top publishers in the world.
In addition to working with their assigned team on important projects, interns will gain access to Hearst's diverse professional network by participating in intimate learning sessions and join fun peer networking activities throughout the summer. Program participants will also leverage Hearst's resources to work on and present a group project to senior leaders at the conclusion of the program.
Our ideal intern for this program will be enthusiastic, organized, ready to absorb tons of knowledge this summer.
YOUR IMPACT
We're looking for an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition intern, who will bring a positive attitude and go-getter mentality to the recruitment team at Hearst. This intern will have a passion for recruiting and is eager to learn.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist in the recruitment process including, but not limited to scheduling interviews, reviewing resumes, and sourcing via LinkedIn
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to help build strong and diverse candidate pipelines via LinkedIn Recruiter
- Shadow recruiters to receive exposure to our applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools
- Increase Hearst Magazines' presence on social media to improve employer branding
- Research diverse organizations and universities with qualified talent, to strengthen Hearst's diversity initiatives
- A rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program
- Preferred Majors: Human Resources Management, Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Proficient in social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, & TikTok
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of professionalism with ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize requests and meet deadlines
- Must be available during internship program dates
