Job Summary:

The Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Intern will be an essential part of the talent acquisition team and Human Resources department. This role will support recruitment efforts to identify and attract top candidates for various positions within the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist with posting and communicating job openings.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks, primarily on LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates for further evaluation.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Update and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and hiring status.
  • Assist with coordination of campus recruiting activities, participating as schedule allows.
  • Analyze existing recruiting processes and make process improvement recommendations.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings and completing assignments.

Other Job Functions:

  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Second semester Sophomore or Junior class standing, progressing towards Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition/recruiting
  • Ability to work and interact well with others
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High energy individual who is flexible and willing to learn
  • Self-motivated with keen attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and sense of urgency.
