The role:

Crafty is looking for a strategic and thoughtful Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager to join our growing People team! As the TA Manager, you will be accountable for all sourcing, recruiting, hiring and retaining talented and diverse candidates, and will be managing & growing our TA team. This role will be a “player-coach”, wherein you’ll be both managing team members, as well as direct recruiting higher-profile roles. You'll be in charge of developing and implementing our Talent Acquisition strategy in partnership with your aligned business units, across our exempt and non-exempt employee base.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and own the recruitment phase of the employee lifecycle
  • Develop recruitment strategy. This may include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning
  • Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts (internal recruitment meaning assessment of employees for different or more senior roles)
  • Manage our public employee persona in partnership with our Marketing team (through channels like LinkedIn, Builtin, Glassdoor, etc.)
  • Execute on end-to-end sourcing for the open requisitions within your partner departments
  • Perform analysis of hiring needs in partnership with partner departments and provide employee hiring forecast
  • Problem solve with your (growing) team to understand the bottlenecks within the recruitment process and own solutioning around solving those issues
  • Perform candidate satisfaction evaluations
  • Plan procedures for improving the candidate experience
  • Manage and grow both current and team TA team members
  • Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process
  • Create and present KPI reports to People leadership and Crafty leadership

Who we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition
  • 2+ years of experience in managing a team
  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
  • Familiarity with a variety of different interview processes and styles
  • Experience sourcing, vetting, and managing 3rd party recruiting firms
  • Hands-on experience with posting jobs across different channels; familiarity with non-traditional job boards and social media outreach a plus
  • Knowledge of California & NY hiring practices is ideal
  • Experience with TA technology: HRIS, ATS, sourcing, recruitment marketing, etc
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Experience building and sourcing from a growing and diverse candidate pool

The Role:

Crafty is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to deliver high quality client experience, centered around hospitality and operations support at a large Palo Alto-based client site. This individual will be the main point of contact on the ground for our client, and will be focused on and have the agency to deliver the best client experience. There are four main areas of responsibility: client communications, people management, operational execution, and quality assurance.

Client Engagement

  • Handle day-to-day communication and coordination with onsite client contact
  • Provide a high level of hospitality to the onsite end users (the organization’s employees)
  • Reporting trends and account level feedback from client to account management teams, and engage in evolving the client’s programming
  • Proactively solving problems for the client 
  • Listening and taking action to support what the client needs
  • Engage in ‘surprise & delight’ activities to add the Crafty touch to our client engagements

People Management

  • Support the different on-site teams in their ongoing development - helping problem solve any blockers that come up for them to execute their day-to-day
  • Facilitate a healthy working environment for on-site teams to promote cross-team feedback and support

Operational Execution 

  • Lead a team of third-party pantry partners, caterers, and service techs as they come onsite
  • Effectively communicate expectations and definition of success for on site teams through clear task lists as well as written and verbal communication
  • Manage on site projects, such as new service or product rollouts
  • Execute on daily tasks -- such as stocking, inventory management, catering management, budget management and order placement --  to keep your client space organized for all food & beverage related items
  • Build relationships with our partners and keep an open line of communication between partners, the client, and Crafty management

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the look and feel of how food & beverage are presented in the office to meet (or exceed) Crafty’s standards
  • Triage quality issues & make real time adjustments and decisions to ensure client satisfaction
  • Report quality or equipment issues to the appropriate team members and support onsite resolution

Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required.

You are considered fully vaccinated:

  • 14 days after your dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine
  • 14 days after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series
  • 14 days after you've received 2 doses of any "mix-and-match" combination of accepted COVID-19 vaccines administered at least 17 days apart.

If you do not meet these requirements, you are NOT considered fully vaccinated.
