Job Description

Position Summary: 

 The Talent Acquisition Manager is passionate about partnering with department heads and senior leaders to build and oversee recruiting strategies to drive results, build scalable processes and use metrics to inform all recruiting decisions. He or she is responsible for leading a team of internal recruiters and is a key collaborator on the Human Resources leadership team.

 Essential Functions 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain top talent
  • Mentors and leads a small team of recruiters while working closely with the business unit leaders to drive best recruiting practices and a workforce strategy for their organizations.
  • Oversee day-to-day performance of recruiting team, including but not limited to, leading weekly one-on-one conversations, managing recruitment productivity, and monitoring goals and performance metrics in Greenhouse
  • Partner with key stakeholders to measure accuracy around requisition progress, status, and onboarding
  • Lead and participate in projects as needed to elevate recruitment process to provide best-in-class experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Heavily focused on sourcing highly qualified candidates for leadership and other positions within CPI
  • Stay informed on legal requirements and best practices in recruitment and hiring to ensure compliance
  • Provide training and counsel related to recruitment and talent development process and programs to leadership and staff
  • Create and manage job postings across various job boards and recruiting platforms
  • Oversee design elements, functionality and reporting of recruitment technologies, including social media and career sites
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of the talent acquisition strategy
  • Maintain budget and organizational investments in sourcing and talent acquisition
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships that support talent acquisition and related processes
  • Actively contributes to reporting needs from leadership

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required  

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work at a high pace with competing and changing priorities 
  • Experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including social media, job boards, internships, and networking events
  • Proven ability to influence and build strong business partnerships 
  • Effective interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively across all levels of the organization 
  • Must be able to effectively lead a team of recruiters by coaching, delivering feedback and supporting them daily
  • Ability to travel regionally to various branch locations
  • Advanced organizational skills with high attention to detail and excellent customer service
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when dealing with sensitive issues and information
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office software

Other Experience Required  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relatable experience 
  • ATS and HRIS experience required, Greenhouse and UKG experience preferred
  • Experience in supporting fast paced sales organizations
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience and with 3+ years in leading a team
