SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our HR Staff based in Syracuse, NY. You will have responsibility for leading the recruiting vision for SRC while collaborating with business leaders throughout the organization as well as with the HR team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of recruiters, working jointly to recruit for senior level experienced professionals
  • Lead the development and execution of the Talent Acquisition strategic plan
  • Present and report on key recruiting metrics and talent acquisition strategies
  • Interface directly with company management to ensure recruiting needs are fulfilled and communicate progress on recruiting goals and objectives
  • Be an effective business partner who quickly understands the business goals, hiring needs, and position requirements
  • Manage and perform full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing top talent while complying with EEO and OFCCP federal regulations
  • Proactively source candidates through active networking, resume database searching, internet mining, social media, professional associations, cold calling, placing advertisements, and creative sourcing methods
  • Ensure compliance in the recruiting/hiring process with laws and regulations, including EEO and AAP compliance
  • Develop and lead the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion recruiting plan
  • Attend career events, job fairs, build relationships with colleges and universities
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships for maximum return on investment
  • Creatively source top talent to fill unique technical positions

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business administration, human resources or related fields, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years recruiting experience, preferably conducting non-agency full life-cycle recruiting
  • Minimum of 2+ years leadership/supervisory/management experience
  • Understanding of behavioral interviewing techniques
  • 10% travel

  • Demonstration of project management and change management capabilities
  • Strong analytical abilities and recruiting metrics reporting
  • Experience developing and managing a recruiting budget
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook and web-based HR tools
  • Experience with the use of applicant tracking software and HR databases
  • Knowledge of social media and professional networks to source candidates
  • Experience recruiting for government contracting work preferred
