Job Description
Team: Recruiting
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager in Canada.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and scale the recruitment function within a fast-growing, mission-driven organization. As a key member of the People team, you will own end-to-end hiring strategy while remaining deeply hands-on in execution, particularly across technical hiring for Product and Engineering roles. You will partner closely with leaders and hiring managers to define talent needs, improve hiring quality, and ensure a strong candidate experience. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly iterative, requiring strong judgment and adaptability. Beyond sourcing and closing top talent, you will play a pivotal role in improving processes, interview frameworks, and recruiting systems. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic ownership and operational delivery, and who is motivated by building scalable hiring practices in a high-growth setting.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will own and evolve the talent acquisition function while actively contributing to hiring execution across technical and business roles. You will partner with hiring managers to understand needs, define candidate profiles, and drive efficient hiring processes, with a strong emphasis on Product and Engineering recruitment. You will also lead sourcing initiatives across outbound channels, referrals, and talent pipelines while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience. In addition, you will identify bottlenecks, improve recruiting workflows, and enhance interview structure and calibration practices across teams. You will use recruiting data, funnel metrics, and market insights to inform decisions and continuously improve hiring outcomes. You will also contribute to reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder communication to support a data-driven approach to talent acquisition.
Requirements
You bring experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager, Recruitment Lead, or similar role, with ownership over hiring strategy or a significant portion of recruitment execution. You have operated in fast-paced, high-growth environments where priorities shift quickly and adaptability is essential. You demonstrate strong experience in technical hiring, particularly across Product and Engineering roles, along with solid talent judgment for both capability and long-term fit. You are skilled in stakeholder management and have a proven ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and leadership teams. You are comfortable improving hiring systems, including interviewer training, structured processes, and calibration frameworks. You combine strong communication skills with a resourceful, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to balance urgency with quality. Experience in data-driven recruiting and familiarity with improving hiring funnels and metrics is highly valued.
