We are seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to support Metagenomi’s continued growth. Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition support.  The ideal candidate will be process and people-oriented, with outstanding attention to detail.  This role will be based in Emeryville, California.

How you’ll contribute:
  • Support Talent Acquisition partners by scheduling high-volume interviews, building processes into Greenhouse (ATS),
  • Maintain outstanding communication with  candidates, hiring managers, and TA Partners throughout the interview and selection cycle
  • Apply your solid experience with Greenhouse or similar applicant tracking systems to optimize system functionality, including reporting and training new users
  • Manage the requisitions process, adapting and tailoring interview schedules, initiate background checks, generate offer letters
  • Closely partner with the HR Operations Specialist to ensure a transition onboarding experience for new hires
  • Partner with  our Talent Acquisition Programs Specialist on a variety of TA Programs 
  • Manage the “Monday” requisition management tool, verify approval status for requisition requests, review and edit position profiles for posting 
  • Manage LinkedIn Recruiter account and  promoted job posts
  • Support the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition on various TA initiatives, including training and systems optimization.
What you bring: 
  • Undergraduate degree  and  four years experience in a Talent Acquisition Coordinator or Talent Acquisition Operations role, ideally through rapid-growth phase
  • Advanced proficiency with managing complex interview scheduling, Greenhouse or similar ATS, project management tools, (Asana or Monday) 
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, outstanding attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of Talent Acquisition metrics and reporting
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, a solutions-oriented and a “no job too big or too small” mindset
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities to support rapid growth and scalability
  • Extremely organized and able to efficiently manage your time and workflow, including skillfully prioritizing both long-term projects and day-to-day responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, highly process-oriented 
  • Thrives in a fast-moving and dynamic team environment
  • Independent, proactive, and collaborative, and a high level of integrity and discretion.

California Pay Transparency Disclosure:

This position is classified as a non-exempt position under the Federal Labor Standards Act.  The anticipated base salary range for this position will be $70,000 to $90,000.  Please note that individual total compensation for this position will be determined at the Company’s sole discretion and may vary based on location, skill level, years and depth of relevant experience, and education.
