We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing recruiting team. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will help develop and execute recruiting initiatives while partnering with stakeholders to hire the best talent. The role is fast-paced and highly collaborative, and you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating and closing top talent across the organization, while providing an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate is a champion for candidates and their experience and is someone who knows how to listen and respond to hiring manager feedback. You will be a consultative and driven recruiter with experience implementing customized sourcing strategies. You are adaptable, enthusiastic, and can handle complex conversations.

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate skill, conduct effective interviews, and drive offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations and negotiations, and offer presentation
  • Advocate for the candidate and provide all candidates with an exceptional experience, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the process
  • Own pipelining and sourcing for candidates on LinkedIn and through in-person and virtual recruiting events, social media, and other platforms
  • Build relationships and trust by coaching hiring managers during the assessment and evaluation of candidates to reach effective outcomes and best practices
  • Suggest innovative ways to identify and engage new, diverse talent in partnership with hiring managers
  • Position and effectively articulate the POLITICO employment brand
  • Partner with HR team to design and implement new recruiting strategies, as well as track and analyze key recruiting metrics and trends


What You'll Need:

  • 3+ years proven experience in talent acquisition or staffing
  • Experience applying creative, unique ways to attract and find passive candidates via social media and other platforms
  • A personal brand that will contribute to success converting passive candidates
  • An understanding of hiring trends, talent market, and competitive awareness; an ability to translate what that means for our clients
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with employment law, Microsoft Office Suite, and recruitment best practices is preferred
  • Experience using UKG as an HRIS and ATS is a plus
