What You Can Expect
Our Talent Acquisition Partner plays a vital role at ENGIE North America by implementing a full talent acquisition life cycle including proactively sourcing and headhunting talent, screening resumes, profiling and interviewing candidates, advising on best practices, and negotiating and extending offers. You will work closely with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and be responsible for implementation of those plans while showing a sense of urgency, proactiveness, professionalism, enthusiasm, and a focus on service delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with headhunting for hard-to-fill requisitions and be able to pivot with business needs.
Daily you will provide resourceful and proactive recruitment with excellent communication and the ability to work with urgency, accurate data entry, and excellent time management skills. You develop recruitment plans for critical business openings with a focus on sourcing passive talent with the ability to be resourceful in remote locations. You use multiple recruitment methods and sources to ensure a diverse candidate pool. You counsel hiring managers on the application of Affirmative Action goal data during attraction & recruitment process and hiring practices consistent with OFCCP guidelines. You provide recruiting expertise and consultation for hiring initiatives by coordinating regular follow-up meetings with hiring managers. You source talent by leveraging progressive recruitment methods and headhunting techniques to identify top talent and achieve lowest cost per hire. You maintain an effective relationship with all candidates as they progress through the recruiting/interview process by communicating through all stages of the hiring process. You collaborate with hiring managers, and other stakeholders when negotiating and extending offers of employment that attract the best talent as well as making certain internal equity objectives are met. You analyze data and current recruiting trends to determine key performance indicators.
What You'll Bring
- You have a minimum of a High school Diploma or GED
- You have a minimum of three years' experience in a full life cycle recruiting environment
- You are a Professional Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) with an active certification or the desire to achieve one
- Experience with a variety of competitive sourcing practices in and out of the energy industry and trends in supply and demand for client base
- Understanding of US employment law, EEOC, and OFCCP practices
- Experience with online candidate management systems to drive recruitment effectiveness
- Excellent internal and external client relationship with a track record in developing robust relationships across the business and a knack for knowing your audience
- Superior communication skills in both written and spoken word with a coaching and collaborative approach and strong service delivery ethic
- Possess a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data and sensitive HR issues
- Solid Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is a must with a high-level of presentation skills
- Working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy which is currently a minimum of three (3) days a week in the office
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record;
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $62,400 - $95,450 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
