Talent Acquisition Partner - Contract

Job Summary

Our manufacturing plant in Union, South Carolina is poised for massive growth in 2024, and this role will support the hiring of hundreds of non-exempt positions.

This role is responsible for partnering with our plant leadership to maintain a recruiting strategy to attract highly qualified non-exempt candidates, with a focus on production personnel.  This role will also support Quality and Supply Chain in hiring non-exempt roles. It will manage the successful execution of the hiring process, creating a positive experience for all candidates, and fostering MycoWorks’ culture as we continue to grow. A strong connection to the local community will be pivotal to success in this role.

This is a 6 month contract position onsite at our office and manufacturing facility in Union, SC.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a large volume of hourly hiring, through sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hosting recruiting events
• Manage the candidate interview flow, following established interview and selection processes, and recommending improvements to recruiting systems when necessary
• Maintain a relationship with hiring leaders to provide direction, track progress, and make adjustments to maximize success
• Track all candidate progress through Greenhouse
• Maintain hiring dashboards, providing regular updates to Talent Acquisition team and internal customers
• Manage candidate pipeline including reviewing and categorizing applications, conducting phone screens, managing candidate communications, working with Senior Talent Acquisition partner to ensure technician coverage on each shift, develop candidate rosters for hiring events, etc.
• Maintain an understanding of the business, growth plans and challenges
• Be the face and voice of Mycoworks to prospective hourly employees and manage employee referrals

Qualifications:

• Two plus years experience of high-volume recruiting  in a manufacturing environment  
• Experience maintaining a candidate pipeline of 100+ candidates at one time
• Ability to share MycoWorks in a compelling way to hire employees committed to long-term employment
• Passionate about diversity sourcing, recruiting, meeting new people and collaborating with a high-performance team
• Can manage many candidate processes at once while still giving every candidate a personal experience
• Familiarity with local community and building strong referral networks
• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills to display approachability and trust and establish relationships
