The Appian Talent Acquisition team is passionate not only about all things recruitment, but ensuring we have first class experiences from a candidate's first interaction to supporting stakeholders in their hiring journey. We are responsible for end-to-end delivery - everything from creating interview processes, marketing our employment brand, to helping scale Appian’s organization. We love to partner with stakeholders and candidates, and have a blast while doing it.

This position is responsible for supporting North America hiring efforts across multiple business functions. We’re looking for someone who can act as a bit of a flex player, as you’ll be responsible for hiring top talent across both tech and non-tech organizations. We care deeply about quality hires, candidate experience, and stakeholder partnerships.Ā Ā 

This role would start out as a 6-month contract, and will be based at Appian's Headquarters in McLean, VA. This is a hybrid role; we are targeting candidates who can reliably join us in office 3 days per week.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify, Source, and message the best of the best talent at all levels, for niche and evergreen roles across multiple functions (both technical and non-technical).Ā 
  • Build effective partnerships with business stakeholders.Ā  Shape outcomes with hiring based on data and market trends.Ā Ā Ā 
  • Own candidate lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring candidates experience a ā€œwhite gloveā€ level of service throughout their journey with Appian
  • Think outside of the box and utilize creative marketing, sourcing strategies, and techniques to promote Appian as an employer of choice

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years experience full life cycle corporate recruiting for a software company or as an agency recruiter hiring for software company clients
  • Experience recruiting for a software product or professional services company - and preferably, experience supporting hiring for both technical and non-technical roles (especially sales!)
  • Ability to thrive, and preference for dynamic, fast paced, and high growth environments
  • Proven ability to build and implement successful, creative approaches to talent acquisition
  • Proven success sourcing and hiring high level positions with niche skills sets
  • 4-year degree required
