Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and cultivate a network of passive talent
- Screen and/ or interview candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements and facilitate interview process with hiring teams while ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Manage both candidate & hiring manager expectations and process end-to-end, including Requisition management for US HR team
- Set expectations and consult with hiring managers regarding the hiring process and responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruiting process and consult with them regarding staffing best practices, trends, issues, and challenges
- Provide HR and management reporting as required
- Propose and implement ongoing improvements to optimize recruitment efforts
- Partner with HR to build Talent Acquisition processes and programs, including interview training, social media recruitment strategy, etc.
- Manage relationships with third party vendors (if engaged); ensure compliance with contractor/consultant engagements in US
- Other recruiting & HR operational duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of recruiting experience managing the full-life cycle candidate recruitment process (source, network, screen, recruit, market, and close top talent) required
- Prior experience with full lifecycle sourcing and recruiting in the life sciences industry required, with 3-5+ years in-house corporate recruiting & staffing management experience also required; In-business staffing management supporting recruitment for various business functions, including but not limited to: Commercial, Research & Development, Development Operations, or Corporate Functions preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work against tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships within HR and with business leadership
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Strong working knowledge of systems and tools including ATS, and MS Office Suite required
- Proven track record of high volume, high quality recruitment across multiple business disciplines
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
- New hires based in the US will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption or accommodation to this vaccination requirement, subject to applicable.
