Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be an integral part of our HR Team by delivering the best experience for our candidates and Hiring Managers. This is a full-time role and is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role will be based in Palo Alto (hybrid work model - 3 day in office) and will report directly to the US HR Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and cultivate a network of passive talent
  • Screen and/ or interview candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements and facilitate interview process with hiring teams while ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Manage both candidate & hiring manager expectations and process end-to-end, including Requisition management for US HR team
  • Set expectations and consult with hiring managers regarding the hiring process and responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruiting process and consult with them regarding staffing best practices, trends, issues, and challenges
  • Provide HR and management reporting as required
  • Propose and implement ongoing improvements to optimize recruitment efforts
  • Partner with HR to build Talent Acquisition processes and programs, including interview training, social media recruitment strategy, etc.
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors (if engaged); ensure compliance with contractor/consultant engagements in US
  • Other recruiting & HR operational duties as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of recruiting experience managing the full-life cycle candidate recruitment process (source, network, screen, recruit, market, and close top talent) required
  • Prior experience with full lifecycle sourcing and recruiting in the life sciences industry required, with 3-5+ years in-house corporate recruiting & staffing management experience also required; In-business staffing management supporting recruitment for various business functions, including but not limited to: Commercial, Research & Development, Development Operations, or Corporate Functions preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work against tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships within HR and with business leadership
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Strong working knowledge of systems and tools including ATS, and MS Office Suite required
  • Proven track record of high volume, high quality recruitment across multiple business disciplines
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
  • New hires based in the US will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption or accommodation to this vaccination requirement, subject to applicable.
  • Estimated salary: $145K-170K/year DOE
