At SSCI, we firmly believe that our fundamental key to success is having the right people. We are conducting a dedicated search for a high caliber Talent Acquisition Recruiter to lead the company's effort to finding and hiring those "right people". Given the strategic importance of this position, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter will become a member of the Extended Leadership Team(ELT) that consists of the CEO, Vice Presidents, Directors, Group and Technical Leaders. Working directly with the ELT, you will create sourcing strategies, develop critical hiring need pipelines, and then attract, recruit, negotiate, and close offers with new members of the SSCI team. You will have responsibility for the development and execution of recruitment strategies that support business initiatives and will partner with leaders to coach and mentor on talent acquisition processes, HR policies, state and federal laws including OFCCP compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to generate a pipeline of qualified top candidates across multiple highly technical disciplines
  • Work with hiring teams to identify skills and backgrounds needed to grow the team
  • Work with hiring managers and Human Resources to create compelling offers, negotiate and close offers
  • Ensure accurate and timely record keeping in accordance with company policies, Talent Acquisition processes and OFCCP
  • Develop and present weekly recruiting reports
  • Pre-screen potential candidates and assess candidates' qualifications and culture fit
  • Manage the interview process from the initial schedule to the onsite execution, including supporting the onsite candidate experience
  • Finding opportunities for improving interview process bottlenecks, candidate experiences, and scheduling efficiency.
  • Develop partnership programs with the nation's top technical universities
  • Plan and lead recruitment events

Requirements

  • Strong sales skills, and an understanding of the need for "marketing" of the company to sourcing candidates, then "sales" to inspire candidates about our company, goals, team, and opportunities
  • 10+ years experience sourcing and recruiting candidates from Engineering disciplines such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience scaling technically-focused teams quickly
  • Experience closing top technical talent across all levels of seniority
  • Experience in sourcing candidates requiring security clearances
  • General knowledge of various engineering disciplines and associated skills/certifications

  • Previous experience working at companies that focus on advanced technologies in the areas robotics, space, autonomy, and artificial intelligence Exercised effective influence, consulting, and negotiating skills.
