Your Role:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a collaborative team player who works closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to deliver against the organization’s recruiting needs. You'll establish relationships with hiring leaders and team partners to identify talent that meets requirements, supports our company's strategic plans and aligns with RPM culture. This role will also participate in recruiting KPI’s that drive quality-of-hire and time to fill while providing an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage the full life-cycle recruiting process ensuring a smooth and best-in-class candidate experience.
- Partner with RPM leadership and hiring teams to develop a deep understanding of current and future hiring needs, quickly assessing priorities and determining ideal candidate profiles.
- Effectively open and post new requisitions to company and external job boards.
- Conduct initial phone interviews and coordinate in person interviews between candidates and internal team members.
- Maintain daily and weekly reports on recruitment activities.
- Greet and escort all incoming candidates for interviews.
- Focus on inclusive recruiting practices and sourcing strategies by building a candidate pipeline from various channels, passively sourced, networking and referrals.
- Participate in process improvement, documentation, tooling and talent market intelligence initiatives.
- Identify candidate closing strategies and proactively coach and inform candidates through the entire recruiting process.
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- 3+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, with proven ability to recruit and hire top-tier technical candidates in addition to marketing, sales, finance and operations talent within the Metro Detroit market.
- A combination of agency and corporate recruiting experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with job postings, social media, applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools.
- Strong track record in sourcing qualified candidates, market research, talent mapping, negotiating offers, and influencing leadership decision-making.
- Comfortable working within a growth focused organization and ability to be dynamic and flexible with change that aligns with organizational maturation.
- A passion for story-telling and a knack for explaining complex concepts in a clear, succinct and concrete way.
- Target driven, detail oriented and approachable with the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
