We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for our company. You will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and negotiating offers. In this role, you will work closely with our hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Team team to ensure that our recruitment strategies align with our business goals.

Essential Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the hiring manager to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
• Negotiate and close offers with candidates.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records in our ATS.
• Source potential candidates on multiple platforms, like Clearance Jobs, LinkedIn, and Indeed.
• Parse technical specialized skills and qualifications to screen resumes
• Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities
• Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g., structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
• Coordinate with team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
• Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
• Participate in local networking events to network with IT professionals
• Promote the company's reputation as a great place to work
• Keep up to date with new technological trends and products
• Attend Job Fairs or networking events

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience

• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods, preferably in the cybersecurity, IT, or government contracting industries
• Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
• Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting and Boolean search)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
• Experience hiring candidates with a DoD/Agency-issued security clearance is a plus!
