Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support all stages of the talent acquisition process, and promote effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for the organization. This position is based in Herndon, VA, has a hybrid schedule (home/office) after 3 months, and reports to the Manager of Human Resources.
Primary Responsibilities
- Schedule interviews at all stages in the talent acquisition process, collect and review interview feedback, and determine next steps.
- Screen applications and identify qualified candidates, conduct interviews, present candidates to hiring team and advocate for them.
- Maintain the applicant tracking system and job description records up to date.
- Collaborate with hiring managers in drafting job description and defining hiring criteria.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Human Resources in the offer process.
- Ensure great onboarding experience by collaborating with the HR team and other departments.
- Support compliance efforts and partner with the HR team on ad-hoc projects.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

- Strong communications, both written and verbal, in coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects to closure.
- Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
Experience/Education
- 1+ years’ of demonstrated experience in high-volume Recruitment or Talent Acquisition role.
- Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.

EdgeConneX offers a competitive benefits package. The preferred pay range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000. Compensation will be finalized after consideration of the successful applicant’s prior work experience, education level and relevant education, and unique skills. EdgeConneX is committed to finding the right person for this role, and salary requests above or below this range may be considered.
