The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the daily functions of the Talent Acquisition Department and will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to grow our teams.

Essential Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the hiring manager to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
- Source potential candidates on multiple platforms, like Clearance Jobs, LinkedIn, and Indeed
- Parse technical specialized skills and qualifications to screen resumes
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities
- Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g., structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
- Coordinate with team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
- Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
- Participate in local networking events to network with IT professionals
- Promote the company's reputation as a great place to work
- Keep up to date with new technological trends and products
- Attend Job Fairs or networking events
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
- Experience with successful full life cycle technical recruiting for DoD, federal, and civilian agencies preferred
- Experience hiring candidates with a DoD/Agency-issued security clearance is a plus!
