The Talent Acquisition Specialist is primarily responsible for overseeing the recruiting and vetting process for new clinical and/or non-clinical Director, Managing Director, Vice President and other Executive level candidates. The incumbent in this role also provides strategic thought leadership to the Talent Acquisition and/or Clinical Recruitment team throughout the enterprise. He/She focuses on the VIP customer experience and serves as a driver of business outcomes through best in class recruiting strategy and execution. The Talent Acquisition Specialist acts as strategic advisor to our internal customers and executive leadership across the ChenMed Family of Companies in the creation and execution of dynamic recruiting strategies.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes full life cycle recruiting to include developing search, sourcing and interview strategies. Seeks job-seekers through online marketplaces/channels (i.e. LinkedIn, Headhunter, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.), connects with qualified candidates, evaluates credentials, conducts in-depth candidate interviews and presents dossiers of recommended candidates to hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
- Networks and builds a talent pipeline with senior industry leaders, assess them and ultimately attract the highest skilled and credentialed professionals to join ChenMed.
- Builds trusted and influential advisor relationships with senior executives, stakeholders and HR leaders through consistent and continuous consultation on critical senior talent gaps.
- Drives an effective and efficient talent strategy in support of the business. Understands the business strategy, assesses the overall aligned talent strategy and delivers on the talent and executive recruiting strategy.
- Maintains an understanding of innovative recruitment tools, technologies and best practices. Leverages data and analytics to develop recruiting strategies and influence business outcomes.
- Nurtures long standing candidate relationships, white glove, meaningful recruitment experience from start to finish. Serves as the primary negotiator and closer with selected candidates.
- Partners with other HR COEs, including, but not limited to: Total Rewards, Talent Management and Organization Development and Employee Relations, as appropriate, to ensure that ChenMed is able to attract, motivate and retain the best talent for today and tomorrow.
- Collaborates with Executive Development and Succession Planning teams to design and execute integrated talent strategies for the executive population.
- Assists the Director, Talent Acquisition in identifying and leveraging opportunities that impact quality, cost and speed of service delivery.
- Educates internal clients on executive recruiting best practices and labor market dynamics. utilizing research and competitive intelligence.
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.

- Expertise in executive recruiting best practices at every phase of the recruiting lifecycle
- Knowledge of web-based candidate tracking system management and reporting (Workday a strong plus)
- A combination of strong technical skills and strong people skills with a detail-oriented personality
- Familiar with multiple candidate-sourcing websites
- Ability to engage the potential recruit quickly and present a good face for the company
- Well-versed in the history and culture of the company
- Track record of flawless execution and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-oriented, high-demand environment with tight deliverables
- Superb organizational and follow-up skills; ability to prioritize and process a high volume of work while maintaining the highest quality
- Ability to work successfully in an environment with high visibility and the ability to manage complex and sensitive situations independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and presentation software
- Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 25% of the time
- Spoken and written fluency in English
- This job requires use and exercise of sound independent judgment and discretion
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a closely related field required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
- A minimum of 4 years Human Resources recruiting experience required; in a healthcare environment preferred
- MHRM, MBA or an advanced degree in a related field preferred
- PHR or SPHR strongly preferred
- Previous experience utilizing the internet, databases, applicant tracking systems, search engines and social media to source active and passive candidates
