Job Description

Position Overview:

Solid Power is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help grow our exceptional team working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next generation, all solid-state rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment. This position is responsible for the full recruitment cycle, which includes assisting in the development of job descriptions, sourcing candidates through digital platforms, coordinating the interview process, and assisting Human Resources team to ensure a great onboarding experience for new hires.

Job Duties:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers throughout the recruiting process, including reviewing and editing job descriptions, posting jobs internally and externally, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
  • Manage candidate progression through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Provide ongoing communication and status updates to both candidates and Hiring Managers. 
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting team to update and maintain recruiting and interviewing practices.
  • Monitor and drive the recruitment process and ensure candidate decisions are made in a timely manner according to processes and standards while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Create and distribute reports as needed/requested.
  • Partner with the Recruiting Manager to train Hiring Managers and teams in processes including ATS.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting Manager on initiatives and/or hiring needs. 
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to identify, utilize, and manage external staffing agencies when appropriate. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a full cycle recruiting role (preferably includes in-house recruiting at a corporation).
  • Prior experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably UKG Ready and Greenhouse.
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional applicant experience. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365. Adobe is a plus. 

Salary Range: $50,000–$91,000/year
