Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruiting top talent across the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is our Brand Ambassador, whose primary focus is attracting the most desirable talent in our industry. We are looking for a customer focused and detailed orientated candidate that is motivated to recruit top talent in engineering. This person must be a fast learner with exceptional communication, organization and follow-up skills who is dedicated to deliver a world class candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Source candidates via traditional and non-traditional methods utilizing social media, Magna website, and various job posting websites. • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate interviews.• Participate in candidate interviews utilizing behavior-based interview questions.• Recommend continuous improvement plans to streamline processes and add efficiencies as well as attract top talent to help grow our team. • We encourage knowledge sharing and creative ideas to learn and grow. • Participate in college recruiting events to represent the company and identify potential candidates.• Provide excellent service to hiring managers for a variety of technical orientated roles.• Strong commitment to ongoing candidate care for external and internal applicants.• Self-starter with the ability to take direction and work well independently• Maintain recruitment KPIs and strategize methods to continually improve.• Work with hiring managers to select the best qualified candidates.• Use PeopleNet+ to post positions, hire applicants and track new hires. • Extend job offers.• Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity.• Perform other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. • Maintain regular attendance and a positive attitude.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
• Our preferred candidate will possess possess experience using both creative sourcing methods and full cycle recruiting efforts with a strong focus on customer service to our hiring managers. You will be a customer service rock star within our team.• Forward thinkers and creative minds are encouraged. Proven strategic recruitment experience - including sourcing and developing talent is highly desirable.• Previous experience using and maintaining an electronic based applicant tracking system.• Excellent time management with the ability to remain organized in a fast-paced and changing environment.• Able to be detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Able to handle confidential and sensitive information.• Able to be team oriented with assertiveness ability• Able to resolve problems creatively • Able to exploratory urges to improve processes• Able to work with global teams. (Cross-cultural communication ability.)• Able to travel (domestic and international may be needed)
Additional Information
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management or related field; or equivalent experience. • Technical recruiting experience required.• Minimum 2 + years' experience desired, in human resources; or equivalent.• Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
