The Opportunity
As a member of the Talent Acquistion team at Consor you will develop, post and manage requisitions in partnership with operations leaders in your groups. Sourcing our own candidates is the primary function of this role. Working collaboratively with the leadership to help grow Consor's talent profile is our job.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Posting and managing of positions: Posting of assigned positions (determined in conjunction with Talent Acquisition Director) to the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS). Make sure that the job description is accurate and properly formatted and that the other details are correct with the hiring manager. Make sure the postings are updated (re-posted or closed at the appropriate time).
- Resume review and Candidate Screening: Contact potential candidates and perform an initial screening interview. The questions asked may vary in depth and type based upon the position and hiring team. The number of candidates that need contacted and screened can vary depending on the week.
- Scheduling interviews (hosting if necessary) and follow-up: For most positions, scheduling of interviews falls on Talent Acquisition. If the interview is a video interview, Talent Acquisition will most likely host the interview and participate as needed. Follow up with the candidate and the team to determine next steps. Follow up may include compensation considerations and possibly verbal offer. Managers may handle their own scheduling, but Talent Acquisition schedules or is involved in 15-25 interviews a week.
- Candidate sourcing and direct recruiting: May assist with sourcing of candidates with specific skill sets in coordination with Talent Acquisition Director. As determined by Director of Talent Acquisition, may be working of Direct Recruiting projects.
- Internal Client Management: work with Director of Talent Acquisition on regular updates and reporting for various internal hiring managers.
Required Credentials
- 4-8 Years of recruiting experience, heavy preference to experience in A/E/C business sector
- Verbal and written communication skills are a must. A candidate will be communicating internally with Consor employees but also the first point of contact with prospective employees.
- A candidate needs to be very organized. There are a lot of time-sensitive elements that go with recruiting and Talent Acquisition must have a way to keep the steps moving in a timely manner.
- Must be able to develop a strong presentation style. Candidates will be presented to the managers but more importantly Talent Acquisition is at the forefront of presenting the Consor brand to prospective employees.
- A BS degree is a plus but not a requirement.
