Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Recruiter to join our team in making an impact every day. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for consulting with business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop talent acquisition strategies to source, attract and hire best-in-class talent.
Responsibilities
Planning:
- Partner with HR and the hiring managers to develop creative recruitment strategies for open positions and in anticipation of future workforce planning needs
- Support the development of TA programs and identify recommendations to continuously improve the recruitment processes and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Plan and execute successful recruitment events supporting targeted needs of the organization (career fairs, realistic job previews, etc.)
Execution:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to integrate talent into the organization, which includes evaluation of candidate experience, skills, goals and competencies to determine the best fit for the role and the organization
- Support multi-site recruitment environment by working with the hiring managers and candidates remotely via MS Teams, email, phone, and other technology (as well as in-person, when appropriate)
- Ensure all postings follow consistent practices
- Assist in the development and implementation of creative recruiting programs to reduce agency dependency
- Proactively and creatively source and recruit passive candidates to target strong industry talent
- Ensure recruitment process complies with Smith & Nephew policies and federal and state guidelines and proper documentation and record keeping is maintained
Reporting and Communication:
- Must be a 100% compliant when using the Applicant Tracking System and other technology
- Provide clear and concise reporting to business leaders and HR colleagues for tracking progress in sourcing candidates for current as well as anticipated open roles
- Identify action plans where progress in filling roles is lacking and ensure business leaders have a clear understanding of mitigation plans
- Foster and maintain strong internal relationships with HR colleagues and business leaders. Integrate and develop recruitment processes to best meet the tactical and strategic needs of the business

We will also consider candidates local to another US Smith and Nephew location
Education
Bachelor's Degree or related experience
Licenses/Certifications
HRCI and/or SHRM certification preferred
Experience
- Must have 5+ years of experience recruiting in a fast paced environment
- Experience recruiting for professional and technical roles (i.e. R&D, IT, finance, etc) is strongly preferred
- Experience creating awareness around a company's Employee Value Proposition
- Demonstrated success with leveraging sourcing tools, social media, networking, and other creative sourcing strategies to find and attract talent
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience using an ATS (preferably Workday)
- Experience recruiting for professional and technical roles is strongly preferred
- Experience using an RMP (preferably Beamery) is preferred
- Experience using a hiring/interviewing platform (preferably ModernHire) is preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
