Overview of the Talent Acquisition Specialist
Wayspring is adding a Talent Acquisition Specialist to our growing TA Team! This role will report into the Talent Acquisition Manager and partner closely with Wayspring's Talent Acquisition Partner. We are a dynamic team of two (soon to be three), who value relationships and making an impact. Our TA function at Wayspring is valued across the organization because we seek to understand roles and support managers by truly partnering with them on their openings. We are not filling seats - we are improving the talent health for the long-term goals of our organization.
The TA Specialist will be a key contributor to the recruiting efforts for Wayspring's corporate and field-based roles. To be successful in this role, you will need to be adept at leading and managing a variety of simultaneous projects, requiring the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Executes full-cycle recruitment process for assigned open positions, including clinical, corporate, and field-based staff openings.
- Partners with hiring manager to determine talent needs, write job descriptions, and create evaluation criteria.
- Continues to seek improvements for the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates, makes recommendations for hire, and extends and negotiates employment offers.
- Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates across all levels and departments in the organization.
- Uses traditional and nontraditional resources and sourcing methods to identify and recruit quality candidates in multiple states.
- Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, and internal offer letters.
- Shadows field and corporate roles in effort to gain understanding of Wayspring operations.
- Owns and develops recruiting operations and processes, seeking opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Assists in talent playbook documentation and creation.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external vendors and agencies.
- Serves as the point of contact for applicant tracking system questions and modifications.
- Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system.
- Networks within assigned markets to identify future leads, partnerships and pipeline development.
- Attends virtual and/or in-person networking events, conferences and/or job fairs.
- Manages job postings and social media engagement to help drive candidate traffic.
- Adheres to Wayspring information security and privacy requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources or a related field.
- Staffing or Campus Recruitment experience.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to support their staffing needs.
- Experience recruiting within the healthcare or IT industry - preferred.
- Ability to communicate in song lyrics and select extraordinary GIF's via Microsoft Teams
Requirements
- At least 2 years in a professional office setting with experience in recruitment, sales or human resources functions
- Experience working in a documentation system, ideally at least one year of experience working within an applicant tracking system.
- Strong sense of urgency paired with a passion for helping others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%
