Talent Acquisition Specialist

What we’re hiring for:

We are a growing fintech organization looking to add a Jr. Talent Acquisition Specialist for our People Operations team! This role will be based in Austin, Texas.

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

• Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
• Full cycle recruiting from sourcing to offer letters
• Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
• Administering appropriate company assessments
• Performing reference and background checks
• Making recommendations to company hiring managers
• Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
• Following up on the interview process status
• Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
• Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
• Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
• Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
• Completing timely reports on employment activity

What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:

• 3-5 years of agency or in-house experience with talent acquisition, specifically around technical functions such as Software Engineering, Development, or Testing
• Familiarity with the total recruitment cycle with a focus on an outstanding candidate experience
• Exposure to common recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Workday, or similar
• Ability to actively listen, understand candidate experiences and articulate information to internal team members
