What you will be doing:
- Maintaining 15-30 open positions, owning the full-cycle recruitment process
- Working within our current ATS system, external sources, and socials to find top talent
- Facilitate pre-screenings for hiring managers
- Schedule and coordinate interviews for all internal and external candidates
- Create and extend formal offers of employment and support new hires and internal promotions/transfers through the onboarding process
- Support Metronet's employer brand and culture by providing an excellent candidate experience
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers
- Collaboratively identify personnel needs, job duties, qualifications, and skills
- Create and maintain job ads and postings in areas that will best attract talent
- Hold managers accountable in providing timely feedback on candidates and interviews to ensure an efficient hiring process and good candidate experience
- Build an effective Talent Pipeline
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
- Create and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Perform passive candidate searches weekly across Indeed, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Be an active representation of Metronet's culture and employer brand across LinkedIn and other social platforms
- Contribute to Department Goals and Initiatives
- Attending job fairs and recruitment events when necessary
- Participate and/or lead project teams to continue to build upon Metronet's current processes as deemed necessary
- Continuously partner with whole Associate Resources team and other departments to contribute to Metronet's growth and success
- Take an active seat in learning what we do as company by getting out to local markets to shadow and build partnerships (required to do bi-annually)
- All other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous recruiting experience, either in-house/corporate or 3rd party staffing agency
- Understanding of full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Must be willing to travel to Evansville, IN for first week of onboarding and twice annually for team and/or company meetings
Additional Requirements:
- Must have experience conducting passive searches through Indeed, LinkedIn, or other platforms
- Ability to travel on an as-need basis to markets for roles to actively see and understand the roles they are recruiting for
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Effective time management skills, must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to change course quickly as needed
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and use good judgment regarding confidentiality
