Arthrex's Human Resources department is expanding the Talent Acquisition team to help support campus recruitment efforts with maintaining and establishing the Arthrex brand at universities and colleges throughout the United States. We are actively seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for College Relations with proven experience in the college recruiting field. This is afull life cycle recruitment role including strategic development, sourcing, selection, pre-employment verification, offer, close and onboarding process. They will focus on building a pipeline of potential candidates for internships, co-ops, and entry level positions. This position will be located at the Naples, FL campus.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the staffing of exempt and non-exempt positions: internships, co-ops, and permanent full-time roles. Reduce recruitment turnaround time to ensure timely placement of candidates for open positions.
  • Develop relationships with hiring managers to determine appropriate job posting requirements and strategically work with them to fill the requisition.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain external partnerships with universities and other educational institutions.
  • Coordinate, attend, and/or host campus recruiting events including but not limited to career fairs, presentations, and interview days.
  • Report on recruiting metrics after career events including event logistics, number of attendees, interviews, and applications.
  • Plan and host in-house events for Arthrex interns/co-ops to maximize the overall student experience.
  • Review applications to identify candidates who best meet eligibility requirements resulting in screening or dispositioning.
  • Source and screen candidates from our ATS and other sources - college job boards, social media, referrals, etc.
  • Promote undergraduate and graduate internship opportunities to job boards including LinkedIn, Handshake, Simplicity, Grad Leaders, etc.
  • Research and report on different university programs to support Arthrex staffing needs.
  • Display professionalism, quality service and a positive attitude to internal members/departments of Arthrex as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and in-person.
  • Ensure that all hiring activities follow legal and Company standards. Assist with Arthrex's Affirmative action plan including tracking applicant data, assisting with compiling appropriate information for hires and departures.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed. Peak travel season includes September-October and January-February.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience required, preferably in college recruiting.
  • Experience planning/hosting intern events highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with campus recruitment management tools preferred.
  • Specific expertise in the areas of sourcing, recruiting, and relationship management preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents and information.
  • Ability to multi-task within a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong presentation skills required.
  • Highly skilled in creating credible business partnerships both within and outside of the organization to attract and retain talent.
  • Possess a sense of urgency to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Strong business technical writing skills desired.
  • Strong sales/negotiation skills desired.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of human resources principles, policies, practices, issues, laws and regulations, especially as they pertain to employment activities preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles and techniques of structured behavioral interviewing preferred.
  • This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image.
  • Ability to think "outside of the box" embrace change and suggest creative innovative solutions as it relates to the business needs.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with ATS systems, such as SuccessFactors is a plus.
