What we’re hiring for:
We are a growing fintech organization looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist- Contract for our People Operations team! This role will be based in Austin, Texas for a 6 month contract.
What you’ll be responsible for in this role:
- Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
- Full cycle recruiting from sourcing to offer letters
- Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
- Administering appropriate company assessments
- Performing reference and background checks
- Making recommendations to company hiring managers
- Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
- Following up on the interview process status
- Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
- Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
- Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
- Completing timely reports on employment activity
What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:
- 3-5 years of agency or in-house experience with talent acquisition, specifically around technical functions such as Software Engineering, Development, or Testing
- Familiarity with the total recruitment cycle with a focus on an outstanding candidate experience
- Exposure to common recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Workday, or similar
- Ability to actively listen, understand candidate experiences and articulate information to internal team members
