Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Graduate & Intern Program) is accountable for the full-cycle recruitment of the Graduate & Internship program candidates to meet current and future staffing needs including developing and implementing creative in-person and virtual program recruiting strategies; innovative candidate sourcing; screening and interviewing; testing; and assisting with the background/drug checking and onboarding process. In addition, this role will support and execute the logistics of the TTI Graduate & Internship program for all North America TTI business segments (Sales, Product, IS, Finance etc.). This role will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Enables TTI to meet current and future staffing needs by developing an understanding of our business operations as it relates to employee talent needs, developing and recommending/implementing creative college recruiting strategies, executing program logistics to make sure we are effectively prepared to attend campus recruiting functions and ensure we are building a steady talent pipeline in alignment with our evolving business needs.

Supports the recruiting needs of the organization by assisting with college recruiting strategy development, ad placement, resume screening and additional duties as required.

Clearly and accurately communicate the company's employee value proposition to potential candidates.

Effectively utilizes all available recruiting resources to post positions and proactively source qualified candidates for the TTI Graduate & Intern program while ensuring our brand is poised for accelerated growth. Ability to work with our internal and external creative marketing resources to support social media campaigns and branding.

Effectively manages the college selection process, may assist in other business segments as needed, by ensuring all positions are posted in accordance with TTI policy; sourcing external candidates, presenting hiring managers with qualified, pre-screened (interviewed and tested) candidates; and by coaching managers on interview/selection process and testing tools.

Assists the Talent Acquisition Team/HR Business Partner/Generalist in the offer development, approval, and extension process (verbal and written) for the TTI Graduate & Internship openings ensuring offers extended are internally equitable and externally competitive by collaborating with hiring managers, Compensation and Human Resources as needed to develop offer and offer extension strategy.

Assist in developing an internal graduate alumni program to help attract talent across all business segments.

Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager with reporting on graduate recruiting metrics after recruiting events.

Stays abreast of college and internship talent acquisition trends/best practices and makes recommendations to ensure maximum alignment in our processes.

Assists TTI in meeting Affirmative Action objectives by developing and implementing action-oriented programs in support of diversity.

Performs special in-person and virtual recruitment programs/projects as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager (e.g., In-person & Virtual Hiring Events, Job Fairs, Recruitment Analysis) in a timely and accurate manner. This role will be required to travel occasionally across the United States to attend campus recruiting functions in-person.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Two to five years' College/Intern recruiting experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources or Business) is preferred.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement creative college recruiting strategies.
  • Strong talent assessment skills to screen, evaluate and select talent including experience with behavioral based interviewing.
  • Experience utilizing Handshake and various college recruitment technology and tools.
  • Demonstrated track record of building confidence and credibility with internal customers (e.g., hiring managers).
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with universities and other educational institutions.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to human resources practices and procedures.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong listening skills.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal/teamwork skills and builds effective working relationships.
  • Possesses a strong customer service orientation and responds to internal customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Exhibits strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and handles multiple, competing priorities and duties (planned and unplanned).
  • Experience using an automated Applicant Tracking System is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft applications at the intermediate level preferred. Must be technically savvy and familiar with navigating a variety of technical tools and resources.
  • A professional level certification from SHRM or HRCI preferred.
