Sentara Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced full-cycle Recruiter to work flexipool (PRN) remotely from one of the following states: MD, FL, IN, NV, NC, WA, GA, SC, TN, TX, WV, WI, VA.

In this position, you will recruit, screen, interview, and refers internal and external candidates to managers at Sentara Healthcare. The recruitment may be in nursing, allied health, nursing support, health plan and/or corporate positions. You will present a positive image of Sentara and maintain effective relationships with Sentara management staff, candidates, and educational institutions/community groups. Participate in projecting future employment needs, creating recruitment plans, and improving the employment process.

This position is remote but does require some in-person/onsite events/meetings. This includes occasional manager or Talent Acquisition meetings, hiring events, and/or interview events areas supported. Some events may require evenings or weekend.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors plus 2 years Recruitment or related professional experience OR Associates plus 4 years Recruitment or related professional experience OR No Degree- HS or GED plus 6 years Recruitment or related professional experience.
  • 2 years Human Resources experience.

Preferred experience:
  • 2 years of healthcare recruiting experience.
