The Talent Acquisition Specialist role will be focused on sourcing and recruiting top talent with a focus on product development, software engineering, and IT. This person will work directly with hiring managers to identify the ideal candidate qualifications and experience needed and actively recruit candidates using LinkedIn, various resume databases, cold calling, email, and other sourcing techniques. This role will also be responsible for coordinating background checks, assisting with onboarding, and facilitating a best-in-class candidate experience from initial conversations through first day on the team.

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to identify needs and deliver diverse talent pipelines for them to hire from.
  • Collaborate with HR partners on various recruiting and hiring related needs
  • Create and maintain attractive job advertisements on the nCino website and job boards
  • Build and enhance nCino's company profile on key online recruiting resources
  • Utilize different internal databases, online sources and social media channels to find qualified candidates on a day-to-day basis
  • Network with passive search candidates and cold call potential leads
  • Identify local and state networking events to attend and enhance brand awareness
  • Screen candidates for availability, interest level, qualifications and technical experience
  • Assist with University recruiting efforts and other internal talent acquisition and human capital projects
  • Meet and exceed weekly and quarterly activity goals


Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years experience as a technical recruiter or combination experience, education & superior performance
  • Experience performing initial screening interviews to assess candidate interest and fit
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (we use Workday)
  • Ability to sell a company, culture and job opportunity
  • Understanding and experience with online recruiting and talent acquisition tools such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Dice, etc.
  • Creativity in approaching talent acquisition in a unique way
  • Knowledge on how to assess and screen candidates prior to interviews
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proactive, motivated, self-starter with the ability to use their own initiative to complete the task on time with high quality


Desired:
  • Experience recruiting software engineers and other positions part of a Scrum team. (Product Managers, QA Engineers, Mobile Developers, Automation Engineers, UI/UX Designers, Scrum Masters, etc)
  • Experience recruiting Systems Administrators, Information Security, IT Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other positions within an IT department.
  • Knowledge of banking and SaaS industry
