Job Overview:

APTIM is looking for a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist (Talent Acquisition Group) that will be responsible for all steps associated with the talent acquisition, recruiting, sourcing and selection of external qualified candidates. The ability to develop strong communication channels with external candidates and a variety of internal managers and supervisors over multiple business lines is crucial for success. Performs other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine best recruiting practices to attract the most highly qualified candidates;

  • Research, source (using cold calls, referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to hiring managers
  • Responsible for project staffing

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and projected hiring needs
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand lines of business and hiring needs
  • Partner with HR to provide best practices and customer service to hiring community
  • Will be responsible for staffing related metrics which are reviewed per business line
  • Recruit, screen and interview candidates.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have 5+ years' experience in recruiting in the Construction/Consultant arena
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to develop strong communication channels with external candidates and a variety of internal managers and executives over multiple business lines.
  • Must be able to work independently with a high degree of customer service
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and interface with all levels of management

  • Must be willing to travel from time to time
  • Have a good understanding OFCCP Compliance and Guidelines
  • Ability to work independently within a team centric environment with minimal guidance
  • Proven ability to develop long term business relationships with candidates and managers
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Able to apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations
  • Ability to use creative and analytical thinking for problem solving

  • Human Resources knowledge such as EEO, FLSA, diversity recruiting, interview best practices
