Talent Acquisition Sr. Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the functional business leaders and HRBPs to understand the global strategic workforce plans. Translates those plans into an annual talent acquisition operational plan to ensure that qualified resources are hired in a timely manner to meet the business goals of Allegro.
- Leads and manage a small team of US internal recruiters, and external contract recruiters as required. Provides guidance to other international HR individuals who have local recruiting responsibilities. Provide Corporate TA support as appropriate to our Manila factory recruiting team. Acts as the key interface for all external recruiting agencies or partners.
- Directs the recruitment of all professional, college, hourly, and leadership hires. Outside of the US, define and implement the appropriate talent acquisition strategy by Region based on the volume and type of hiring required. Work with recruiters, Corporate Compensation and hiring managers to construct competitive offers while balancing internal equity. Consult with HRBPs on offers as needed. Maximize the use of internal recruiting resources and use discretion when determining to leverage external support to control recruiting costs.
- Evaluate the current talent acquisition model across the globe to determine the right approach given the scale and scope of the hiring requirements and implement strategic model changes as appropriate. As a Shared Services center is adopted internationally, assist in defining the scope of transactional work for a SSC recruiting work that can be transferred to it. that can be transferred to it.
- Drive the annual college/university recruiting strategy and oversee the annual recruiting campaign process to secure intern and college hires aligned to the WFP. Work with line managers to cultivate stronger relationships with colleges to ensure that the Allegro brand is known to help us accelerate the hiring of emerging engineering talent. Support strategic recruitment opportunities at the K-12 level.
- Oversee the immigration process to ensure that the appropriate work visas are secured for new hires. Ensure that all DPL and background checks are completed satisfactory prior to hire and address any escalations.
- Manage all external agency relationships, vendors, partnerships and agreements to ensure the terms and conditions meet Allegro's expectations and requirements (examples: Linked In, Glass Door, Sterling etc.) Act as a key liaison with multiple internal stakeholders and executive search firms on select search assignments, and partner closely with the CHRO for all executive level searches. Negotiate all agency fees that are reasonable and customary.
- Manage all temporary/contract resources that are required to support intermittent needs of the business. Ensure that labor laws with respect to contractors is followed.
- Assess current recruiting tools and technologies, and constantly monitor and bring forward new solutions to optimize the recruiting process. Ensure that the current Talent Acquisition module with Workday is optimized to its fullest capacity.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruiting process, and implement changes as appropriate to drive efficiency, quality and an overall positive experience for all involved.
- Establish and report regularly to management on talent acquisition KPIs and scorecards to measure the effectiveness of the TA function, including a focus on DEI metrics.
- Monitor external market and competitive trends and provide market intelligence back to HR team to influence our practices and offerings.
- Work with Talent Management leader to develop any recruiting training required for hiring managers.
- Work with the appropriate HR and Marketing Communications staff to ensure that the Allegro brand and strategy are reflected on all web/social media platforms and in all recruiting materials.
- Responsible to maintain all selection and hiring related policies. Ensure that recruiting teams follow local labor and employment laws.
- Stay engaged with new hires early in their on-boarding/assimilation period and provide feedback to the HR team if there are opportunities for improvement.
Key Experience, Skills and Education
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience leading major elements of the Talent Acquisition function for highly technical engineering, professional, college, and executive level positions.
- 7 years people management experience required, preferably leading a diverse Talent Acquisition team.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred, but experience in high technology or other complex engineering/manufacturing industries is required.
- Experience in managing and negotiating agreements and contracts with external agencies, vendors, and partners.
- Demonstrated experience deploying a variety of recruiting models.
- Strategic thinking skills, complemented by a strong orientation to execution and driving for results in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to establish relevant KPIs and scorecards to drive a high performing recruiting function.
- A technology orientation with demonstrated experience in process, technology, and tools to optimize the effectiveness of the recruiting function.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to attract talent to Allegro.
- Excellent influencing skills and strong leadership capability to grow and develop teams.
- Experience working collaboratively within HR and across the all functions of Allegro.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, and must have the ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholders.
- Global Talent acquisition experience preferred.
- Experience with Workday desired
- Immigration experience desired
Education
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management or equivalent.
