Position Overview:
Grand Canyon Education's Human Resources department is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Supervisor to lead our Student Worker Recruiting efforts and oversee the onboarding process for a variety of staff. This role will manage relationships with key vendors like Sterling and Berlitz, ensuring compliance with background checks, I-9s, and other onboarding requirements. The Talent Acquisition Supervisor will also manage and mentor a team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators, Partners, and Student Workers, driving operational excellence and enhancing the recruitment and onboarding experience for all new hires.
What you will do:

Lead the student worker recruiting efforts, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.

Oversee day-to-day onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, including background checks, IRCA/I-9, E-verify, and visa requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring timely completion of background checks and other onboarding tasks.

Supervise and mentor a team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators, Student Recruiting , and Student Workers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Develop and implement strategies to improve recruitment efforts, streamline onboarding processes, and enhance the candidate experience.

Act as the subject matter expert for onboarding, addressing unusual situations, such as immigration or visa-related issues, and escalating as necessary.

Collaborate with business leaders and hiring managers to meet recruitment needs.

Lead special projects aimed at improving the efficiency of recruiting and onboarding processes, including automation and system enhancements.

Ensure compliance with University policies, EEO, HIPAA, and other legal requirements.

Prepare and maintain reports, providing data insights to improve recruitment and onboarding strategies.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, bringing new ideas to enhance the talent acquisition function.
What you will have:
-
Bachelorโs degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of 5 yearsโ human resources experience, including recruiting. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.

Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting tools and data analysis.

Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing coaching and development as needed.

Strong commitment to confidentiality, ethical practices, and compliance with legal regulations.
