Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing recruitment efforts across all locations, collaborating closely with HR Managers in each location, and ensuring the highest standards in talent acquisition. This position requires a strong background in recruiting, with expertise in both exempt and non-exempt positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements effective recruitment strategies for various positions within the organization.
  • Collaborates with the HR team and hiring managers in different locations to understand staffing needs and aligns recruitment efforts accordingly.
  • Utilizes various sourcing methods to identify and engage passive and active candidates.
  • Maintains a strong network of potential candidates through social media, professional networks, and industry contacts.
  • Conducts thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinates and conducts interviews with hiring managers and team members.
  • Provides guidance to hiring managers on selection decisions and best practices.
  • Establishes and maintains strong partnerships with key academic institutions, faculty, and student organizations to enhance our employer brand and foster a pipeline of talented individuals.
  • Coordinates and participates in career fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities to promote our organization as an employer of choice for students and graduates.
  • Utilizes the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidate progress, maintain data accuracy, and generate relevant reports for analysis.
  • Utilizes ATS data to enhance recruitment strategies and optimize the hiring process.
  • Creates compelling job advertisements and postings to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Utilizes various job boards, social media platforms, and other channels to maximize the reach of job postings.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in all recruitment activities.
  • Maintains accurate and organized recruitment documentation for audit purposes.
  • Collaborates with HR team members and hiring teams to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and as business needs require.
  • Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 6-10+ years of experience in recruiting for both salaried and non-salaried positions (heavy focus in Manufacturing Skilled Labor highly preferred)
  • Proven expertise in utilizing ATS, advertising roles, and implementing effective hiring strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid work environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to recruitment challenges.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically required.
